The Work

Get to Know the Work

Every project begins with a question and ends with a measurable outcome. What connects them is an ID process I trust — it's grounded in ADDIE, informed by proven learning theories, and shaped by over 15 years of designing learning experiences across education, technology, and enterprise.

ADDIE is an acronym for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. You might have heard about models like SAM, Agile, and others. However, ADDIE is known as the primary framework for creating courses - not just online, but for coursework as a rule. For example, I think of ADDIE as a "what to do" model and most others as "how to do." Everything else either fits inside the ADDIE framework or reiterates it.

Using the ADDIE Model

"The purpose of education is to make the choices clear to people, not to make the choices for people."
